In addition, please take a moment to refer to the document entitled Wildewood Community Association (“WCA”) Overview, which is intended to provide you with some perspective on the past, current and future governing documents for your Wildewood Community.
Similarly, to provide you further insight into the purpose, scope and membership value of the WCA, I have included a list of frequently asked questions with responses which should help to enlighten you in this matter.
Many of you will recall that, after our meeting in the fall of 2004, we were tasked with the challenge to re-craft the existing WCA documents. We believe that you will find the new documents to be more defined, easier to read, but more importantly, more responsive to issues of concern expressed by Wildewood residents.
Significantly, membership in the WCA will provide the Wildewood community with a strong, cohesive core structure that will assure a professional, consistent management platform internally, as well as a compelling constituency position when dealing with matters at the County level, of concern to our residents.
As such, membership in the WCA will afford you the greatest opportunity to make both your position and your vote count in the future direction of Wildewood. In turn, this will preserve and enhance both your investment in the community as well as fulfilling your enjoyment of everything that the Wildewood lifestyle has to offer you and your family.
It is imperative, as our community grows, to embrace and to promote the WCA standards for the benefit of the entire community, which can be most effectively done with active involvement in a partnership between the WCA and the residents.
Accordingly, for those of you who are in a neighborhood association that has the opportunity to join the WCA, it will be critical for you to express your interest to your Board officers and/or President at this time.
